Student unions urge PM not to sign agreements against national interest

Kathmandu : Different Student Unions have urged the Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal not to sign any agreements against the interest of nation and people during his visit to India.
A joint meeting of different eight student unions held in Bagbazaar in the capital today urged the PM Dahal to make his trip effective and meaningful by keeping the national interest above all.
Similarly, the meeting has urged the government to manage educational loan to the students on the basis of academic certificate, said All Nepal National Free Students Union secretary RC Lamichhane.
He shared that the meeting also urged the government and Tribhuvan University to ensure the election of the free students union forging equal consensus among all student unions for the same.
Similarly, the meeting decided to form inter students girls network discussing with all students organizations.
The meeting also urged the concerned bodies to resolve the surfaced disputes regarding the spelling of Nepali language.
Present in the meeting were Nepal Student Union president Nain Singh Mahar, ANNFSU chair Navina Lama, ANNISU-Revolutionary chair Narendra Neupane, Madhes Students Forum (Democratic) representative Kapaleshwar Yadav among others. RSS
